# Know when it's done

Start a big copy, switch to something else, and AnyBucket tells you when it's finished, or when it needs you.

[Open the full demo](https://anybucket.app/try?mode=notifications)

- **Finished batches:** When AnyBucket is in the background, or the batch took a while.
- **Failures and lost connections:** A transfer that needs attention or a server that dropped.
- **Finished syncs:** When Compare & Sync has made both sides match.
- **A switch for each kind:** **Settings → Notifications** shows the permission and has a switch per kind, license problems included.

## Questions, answered

### I don't get any notifications

Allow AnyBucket under **System Settings → Notifications**, then check the switches under **Settings → Notifications** in AnyBucket.

### When does it announce a finished batch?

When AnyBucket is in the background, or when the batch took a while. Quick copies you watched finish stay quiet.
