# Two panes, any two places

Put This Mac beside an SFTP server, an S3 bucket beside a WebDAV share, or two servers side by side. Each tab holds one or two panes, and you open as many tabs as you like.

[Open the full demo](https://anybucket.app/try?mode=dual-panes)

- **Any place in either pane:** Each pane shows **This Mac** or any server you've added. Pick it from the pane's source menu.
- **Tabs that say what they hold:** Tab titles read **Staging ⇄ Assets**, with a badge for each protocol, and for S3 one per provider.
- **Swap, zoom, mirror:** ⇧⌘\ swaps the panes, ⌘E zooms one, and ⌘= opens the same folder in the other pane.
- **Closed by mistake?:** ⇧⌘T reopens the tab you just closed.

## Questions, answered

### Can both panes show servers?

Yes. Each pane shows This Mac or any server, so you can put two servers side by side and copy between them with F5.

### Can I work with one pane?

Yes. ⌘\ switches a tab between one pane and two, and ⌘E zooms the active pane when you need the room.

### Does it have a light and a dark appearance?

Both. AnyBucket follows your Mac's appearance.
