# Compare & Sync, row by row

Press ⌥F5 and the two panes are compared file by file. See exactly what's new, changed or missing on each side, then mirror or sync.

- **Any two places:** This Mac and a server, or two servers: whatever is in the two panes.
- **Three directions:** Mirror to the right, mirror to the left, or sync both ways.
- **Every row, your call:** Each file gets an action: copy, delete or leave it. Change any of them before anything moves.
- **Told when it's done:** A notification tells you when a sync has finished, even with the window closed.

## Questions, answered

### Can I check every change before it syncs?

Yes. Compare & Sync lists a plan with one row per file and its action: copy, delete or leave it. A mirror makes one side match the other, so files that exist only on the target show up as their own delete rows, and you can change any row before anything moves.

### Can I sync two servers?
